Penny Pennington is a Principal with Edward Jones, and leads the Client Strategies Group responsible for the financial products, services and solutions delivered to clients. A native of Nashville, Tenn., Pennington attended the University of Virginia, where she earned a bachelor's degree in commerce with a concentration in finance. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation; is a graduate of Wharton's Securities Industry Institute; and earned her MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Pennington is an active member of the community and serves as a board member for several philanthropic organizations such as the Saint Louis Fashion Fund Board, Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis and United Way.

Penny Pennington joined Edward Jones in 2000 as a financial advisor in Livonia, Mich. In addition to serving her clients, she served in many regional capacities and completed an asset-sharing program. In 2006, she was named a principal and relocated to the firm's St. Louis headquarters to join the New Financial Advisor Training department.In 2008, Pennington was asked to lead the newly created BOA Development area, responsible for the selection, training and development of the firm's branch office administrators. In 2011, she assumed responsibility for Branch and Region Development which leads regional leadership teams to achieve their region's business objectives. In 2015, she assumed leadership of the Client Strategies Group, which is responsible for the products, services and solutions delivered to clients, as well as Research, Trading and Marketing.Pennington is a member of the firm's Executive, Management and Audit Committees and is a board member of the Edward Jones Trust Company.
