WCMSoar Session 6: Define Your Decision Making Style

This 1hr session on the topic of Defining your Decision Making Style will focus on understanding the dynamics of decision making, along with one's own decision making style. Participants will learn how to modify one's decision approach to be more influential and provide guidance to enhance situation-sensitive leadership and communication skills.  

Prework-related material will be distributed to participants in advance to the session.

Susan brings 30+ years of experience within a diversity of functions including leadership, sales, operations, professional services, business development and customer service, and has empowered individuals and teams in the information technology, insurance, finance, telecommunications and software industries. Susan’s foundational people management approach was developed during her 14 years at IBM. She went on to apply this to the fast-paced world of two start-up organizations which culminated in an executive position at a large software firm. Susan leverages her experience in talent management and insights into human potential to customize solutions and deliver impactful leader development programs to the customers and organizations she works with. Her ability to ask the right questions, effectively assess challenges and align winning solutions has allowed her to repeatedly create value and impact. As a lead facilitator and executive coach, Susan’s passion for people and their ability to maximize their potential by realizing their creative goals is demonstrated in her work with clients. For the past 9 years, Susan has developed and led Felix’s Advancement of Women programs and initiatives coaching senior female leaders to accelerate their career growth, with a focus on women in capital markets. Her facilitation experience includes 13 years in front of leadership teams creating alignment on business strategy, team optimization, leadership development and organizational effectiveness.  In addition to her business interests, Susan is active in the not-for-profit community. She has vast board experience in the areas of strategic planning, communications, governance, development, leadership and fundraising. She is currently the Past Chair of a large independent private school in Toronto plus sits on two other Boards and is a volunteer with various organizations within Toronto.
