About WCMAspire

WCMAspire, a newly launched event series in 2018, consists of 5 sessions over a 8-month period, designed to provide participants with tools to achieve their career goals and accelerate their careers. WCMAspire is designed for entry-level female professionals currently employed in Canadian capital markets. WCMAspire events are eligible only to those who have been accepted into the event series.

Andrea Linger

Vice President, Practice Management and Head of the Women Canadian Advisors Network, Raymond James Ltd.

Andrea Linger began her career in the financial services industry in 2010 and joined Raymond James in 2011. During her time at Raymond James, she has grown her career, taking on new roles and increasing responsibilities first within an Advisory team and then in the Practice Management department. As Vice President of Practice Management, Andrea is responsible for managing, facilitating and designing programs to improve the profitability and growth of our Financial/Investment Advisors across Canada. She is directly responsible for the delivery of various Practice Management programs, facilitating new Advisor training and succession planning programs. As Head of the Women Canadian Advisors Network for Raymond James Ltd., Andrea is committed to advancing the success of our women advisors through professional and personal coaching initiatives, training, workshops and networking opportunities. In September 2021, Andrea was a story contributor to the Amazon Best Selling Women of Inspiration - Women Driving Change book that features inspiring women from diverse industries. These women are everyday heroes and role models, female entrepreneurs, leaders, visionaries; thought leaders who inspire us to forge ahead, take the road less traveled and dream big! Andrea was a 2021 Women of InspirationTM Authentic Leader Award recipient, honoured by the Universal Women’s Network. The Authentic Leader Award is presented to a woman who demonstrates exemplary leadership and has made significant contributions to her industry. Andrea is also the producer of the national financial literacy talk show, The Wealthy Life. The show helps Canadians live their version of a wealthy life through informative episodes featuring guest experts on a variety of topics.

Tyson Rigg

Senior Investment Counsellor, BMO Private Wealth

As a Senior Investment Counsellor and team lead, Tyson is responsible for providing investment management and wealth planning services to high-net worth/ultra-net worth families and institutions at BMO Private Wealth. His dedication and commitment to excellence has enabled him to develop and maintain lasting client relationships, that incorporates multi-generational planning. Tyson is a registered Portfolio Manager, a member of the BMO Investment Counsellor Advisory Committee, an Investment Committee member, and a recipient of the 2020 President’s Council Award. Tyson was selected to join a comprehensive wealth management program in which only 20 candidates from across Canada were chosen. This exclusive opportunity provided him with experience in all aspects of wealth management. Tyson holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Finance from the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management, where he was awarded the Educator’s Honor Roll and listed on the Deans’ Honor Roll for his contributions and academic achievements. In addition to earning his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM©), Personal Financial Planner (PFP©) and a Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFPTM) designations, Tyson is also a Level 3 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Candidate. Tyson lives by the pursuit of excellence in his profession, family and health. He enjoys art, movies, coffee, mentorship, and spending time with his wife.

Aigul Narzhanova

Vice President, UHNW Distribution, TD Securities

Aigul is a 2020 Return to Bay Street Award recipient. She joined TD Securities as part of NA Institutional FX Sales Team and transitioned to the UHNW team in February 2021. Aigul started her career in capital markets in 2005, working for HSBC and Citi bank in the EMEA region. Her focus was delivering hedging solutions on FX, interest rate and energy commodity exposures to corporate and institutional clients. From 2017-2019 Aigul worked in the Big 4 in the Middle East, becoming a hedge accounting expert under IFRS 9 and IAS 39. Aigul is a member of TDS Women in Leadership Committee.

​Wai-Ke Kim

Regional Director, Manulife Securities Advisory Services

Wai-Ke Kim is the Regional Director for Manulife Securities Advisory Services in British Columbia. She thrives on solving unusual puzzles and takes a consultative approach to supporting Brokers with their practice management, recruiting and business development. Prior to joining Manulife, she was with BMO Life Assurance Company specializing in corporate life insurance analysis and solutions. She began her financial services career over 17 years ago as an entrepreneur building a vibrant financial planning practice in Toronto. She is a passionate advocate for Women in Wealth and takes a keen interest in mentoring and networking with young women starting careers in finance. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Queen’s University, and holds a CFP, CLU, CPCA and CEA designations. She is a classically trained pianist, loves to bake cookies and is married to a helicopter pilot.

Jenny Lyn Dela Cruz

Associate, Infrastructure & Renewable Resources, BCI

Jenny Lyn has over seven years of experience working in the finance industry. At the start of her career, Jenny Lyn worked in Financial Audit at the Office of the Auditor General of B.C. In 2017, she joined BCI as an Analyst in the Financial Planning & Analysis group. She joined the Infrastructure & Renewable Resources group in 2019. Her current role focuses on portfolio management, currency hedging, monitoring fund investments, client relations, among others. Jenny Lyn is also an active member of BCI’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Council, with a focus on developing EDI learning opportunities that can help advance employee and leader skills. Jenny Lyn holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Simon Fraser University. She is a CPA and a CFA level 3 candidate.
