CARDS FOR A CAUSE

WCM Alberta is excited to host its 5th annual charity fundraiser and women's social, Cards for a Cause. We will host 130+ women from across multi-disciplinary professional backgrounds for an incredible night of networking, cocktails, food, prizes, and a friendly game of poker while raising proceeds for a great cause. The event is open to all skill levels.

As part of this annual event, each year WCM Alberta will sponsor a local charity with a focus on organizations that are making a significant impact on women and children in our community. This year we are proud to present Making Changes as our selected charity.

The evening will begin with an introduction and teaching session followed by a knock-out Texas Hold'em style tournament. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served throughout the evening and exciting prizes to be won for the top poker players of the tournament.

CHARITY & CLOTHING DONATIONS

For over 30 years, through its various programs and resources 250+ volunteers-rich, Making Changes has been pursuing its mission of empowering women to make meaningful contributions to the community. You are encouraged to bring a donation of new or gently worn in season clothing items for the charity's Dress for Success Calgary or My Best Friend's Closet programs to the event. Ticket pricing includes: Hors d’oeuvres and drinks and your initial poker buy-in and is intended to cover the expenses of the event; any remaining funds, including sponsor donations, and additional poker buy-ins, will go to Making Changes

Full tables (10 tickets) and half tables (5 tickets) can be purchased while available. You will be contacted after purchase to get the names of your guests.
