"How to Ace Your Capital Markets Interview" will provide students with the opportunity to learn how to market yourself and put your best foot forward during campus full-time and summer recruiting.
Our guest panel is comprised of industry professionals and career consultants who will guide students through the interview process, and provide them with important insights into the capital markets industry.

Erica is an Senior Advisor with the Campus Recruitment team. She joined CPP Investments in 2015 and is based in the Toronto Office.
Erica is responsible for the campus recruitment strategy for the Fundamental Investments Program and development of the Women in Capital Markets Internship Program at CPP Investments. Erica’s campus programming portfolio spans across CPP Investment’s global offices. She was previously with IMAX Corporation in Mississauga, focused on both experienced hires and campus recruitment.
Erica obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University.
Kelsey graduated from Queen's Commerce in 2014 with a focus in accounting. Upon graduation she joined the Business Valuation Group at Deloitte where she successfully completed her Chartered Professional Accountancy designation. In 2016, Kelsey joined the Investment Banking Group at National Bank Financial and worked in the Diversified Industries Group. During her time in Investment Banking, she worked on a variety of M&A transactions, equity and debt capital raises, and other client advisory assignments. In 2019, Kelsey transitioned to the Corporate Risk Management Solutions Group at National Bank Financial, where she is part of a sales team that is responsible for structuring derivative solutions for corporations and assisting clients in developing interest rate, foreign currency, commodity and equity risk management strategies.
Mayooran Mahadevan is a Senior Associate Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income within Public Markets at the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI). In this role, he focuses on actively managing portfolios of more than $35 billion of corporate bonds in Canada and the United States.
Prior to his current role, Mayooran was a Senior Equity Research Associate at BMO Capital Markets, where he covered large-cap public companies in the Transportation & Aerospace sector as well as conducted deep-dive thematic-based investment research. Prior to BMO Capital Markets, Mayooran was a Fixed Income Associate Analyst at Moody's Investors Service where he spent several years covering various sectors including Transportation, Metals & Mining and Telecommunication, Media & Technology (TMT).
Mayooran earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2017 and earned an Honours BA in Economics from the University of Waterloo in 2009.
Fernanda is a Senior Associate Portfolio Manager at CPP Investments within the Credit Investments group. She works in public markets with a focus in North American Investment Grade credit, covering the Consumer, Industrial and Financial sectors. Previous to her current role, she worked as a sell-side trader and credit analyst in Scotiabank’s Canadian High Yield desk. Before coming to Toronto to pursue her MBA, she worked for the Central Bank of Mexico in their Fixed Income division. Fernanda is an Actuary and holds a MBA from Rotman School of Management.
Kay is on the Mergers & Acquisitions team at RBC Capital Markets. Before joining RBC, Kay attended Columbia Business School in New York, where she received her MBA. She previously worked at Great Circle in Toronto and at Fox-Pitt Kelton in Chicago and San Francisco.
Alyssa Senwasane is currently a Director on the Loan Syndications team at HSBC Bank Canada. In her current role she is responsible for originating, structuring and marketing syndicated loans (from $50 to $500 million) in the commercial and corporate bank market. Alyssa joined HSBC in 2019 after 11 years at Scotiabank Global Banking & Markets. Most recently, she was an Associate Director on the Corporate Banking – Global Mining team for 5 years, specializing in originating and underwriting senior debt and trading facilities for mining companies in North America and Europe.
Prior to that, Alyssa was worked on the Global Loan Syndications team for 6 years where she joined as an Analyst and held progressively senior roles. Alyssa has Masters of Finance from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, a Bachelor of Business Administration (with a specialization in Corporate Finance) from the Schulich School of Business at York University and has completed Level I and II of the CFA exams. She has also been an active volunteer with WCM and St. Andrew’s Church.
Keren Beletsky is a Principal in the Private Capital group at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, she joined Private Capital in 2018. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Keren worked in M&A investment banking at National Bank Financial.
Keren holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Keren is also the co-chair of the Women in Capital Markets (WCM) UniConnect Committee.
