Michelle is a consultant with LHH Knightsbridge in Markham, Ontario.
Michelle is a Career Consultant who utilizes a strengths-based approach to help clients enhance their confidence, unlock their potential and discover new career possibilities.
Michelle’s patient and calm demeanor, empathy and genuine desire to help clients succeed, enables her to build strong relationships with her clients. She expertly guides job seekers in the development of their personal marketing materials including resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles. She also excels at helping clients to expand their networking efforts, improve their interview performance and optimize their job search strategy – key components of a successful job search.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Michelle had a diverse career as a Consultant & People Deployment Specialist with an international consulting firm, a Sales & Marketing professional, Entrepreneur and Newsletter Writer. This diverse experience combined with her MBA and passion for the Career Transition field, enables Michelle to relate to clients from a wide variety of fields and understand the challenges and opportunities that exist therein.
In a voluntary capacity, Michelle spends her time in the not for profit sector helping individuals with their job search efforts. Through her community work, she has developed and facilitated workshops on the subjects of Career Exploration, Job Search Strategy and Resume Writing.
Michelle completed her Career Development Practitioner Certification in 2016. Prior to that she earned her Masters in Business Administration at the York University Schulich School of Business in 1998 and her Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. She is currently working to become a Certified Professional Coach through the Co-Active Training Institute.
