The evening will feature an overview of the capital markets industry, a panel discussion of senior professionals outlining their capital markets career path, discuss industry trends and opportunities in the field, and offer advice on how to succeed in the world of finance. The evening will end with a structured networking session with industry specialists from leading financial institutions.

Lara Zink is currently President & CEO of Women in Capital Markets. WCM is the largest network of female professionals in Canadian finance, with initiatives that impact the careers of countless female students and professionals across the country. Prior to joining WCM, Lara spent 18 months in venture capital. She is an angel investor and a mentor at a startup accelerator called NEXT Canada. NEXT accelerates the growth trajectory of aspiring and scaling entrepreneurs with education, mentorship, funding, and access to Canada’s strongest entrepreneurial network. From 1995 to 2019 Lara worked at RBC Capital Markets. She sold North American and European equity research and investment banking products to many of Canada’s largest institutional investors, including pension funds, bank owned mutual funds, and independent fund managers. A lead partner in RBC Women’s Leadership ETF, she has been a strong advocate for ED&I throughout her career and has extensive volunteer experience for social impact. Lara has been an active mentor to junior women and men throughout her career.
Christina Carnovale is a Director of Foreign Exchange Sales in the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodites group with RBC Capital Markets, based in Calgary, Alberta. Christina has more than 14 years of experience with RBC, specializing in FX advice and execution for Energy clients across North America. Christina provides guidance on best practices to help manage/mitigate FX exposure related to strategic hedging and large transactions, as well as cash management needs. Prior to joining RBC, Christina spent 7 years with Enbridge Inc., with roles in Corporate Finance, Risk Management and Treasury. Christina holds a Masters of Economics from the University of Calgary. Christina is also the Co-chair of the Calgary Chapter of Women in Capital Markets (WCM) and the Co-Chair of RWomen Calgary, an Employee Resource Group focused on promoting diversity and inclusion at RBC Capital Markets.
Kerry Dunn is a VP, Product Manager for Franklin Templeton Solutions. She is responsible for building a partnership between the Franklin Templeton Solutions team and distribution channels to address the evolving needs of institutional and retail clients. She is involved in global marketing initiatives, institutional client service and business development.
Ms. Dunn joined Franklin Templeton in 2011. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Ms Dunn worked at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) as a product manager for the retail managed solutions platform, working with financial advisors, Broker Dealers and HNW clients in the distribution of multi-asset products.
Ms. Dunn holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Dalhousie University.
Nadège Koskamp is a certified financial planner with IG wealth Management. She has been running a successful business for the last 9 years focused on driven professional who are passionate about their families, communities and creating real wealth for generations to come. The last 5 years she has also been a Division Director recruiting and developing new consultants in the Kitchener Waterloo Cambridge region. She is currently the Director of Financial literacy for the Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals and Co lead of the Black Advisory Council Black North initiative at IGM. But her favorite time is spent with her beautiful daughters Soane and Sydney, exploring trails and our many provincial parks.
