Join us for lunch with Daniela Jaramillio, District Vice President of Wealth Sales for Manulife Investments, while learning about her personal career trajectory. Interviewed by WCM Vancouver Steering Committee member Brianne Gardner, Daniela will share insights from her experience and outline tips that can be applied to your own career progression. She will discuss how to land your dream job, how to climb the corporate ladder and how to have tough conversations with your boss. This event will be very interactive and questions are encouraged to be asked throughout.

WCM Mentor Lunch & Learns are an opportunity for a small number of professionals to meet informally with a female leader in the industry over a round-table lunch discussion. The mentor will share experiences, insights and advice with professionals from the early stages of their financial industry or capital markets careers. 

These events are targeted to junior to mid level female professionals.

Daniela Jaramillo, CIM

District VP Wealth Sales, Manulife

Daniela Jaramillo, is a District Vice President at Manulife Investment Management. She leads a team of four responsible for the maintenance and growth of $1.5B in investment product assets. Her clients are primarily bank brokerage investment advisors. Daniela has over 10 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Manulife, she held a similar role at Fidelity Investments, where she won their Prospector of the Year award two years in a row. She’s also worked at BMO Nesbitt Burns and Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and holds a Chartered Investment Manager designation.

Brianne Gardner, MBA

Brianne is dedicated and result-driven, with cross-functional team experience working with high profile clients. She is used to working on multiple projects with time constraint deadlines, in a constantly changing environment. She is passionate in catering to the transfer of wealth through multiple generations, and financial literacy for women and children.
