Are you a university student in Calgary looking to connect with finance professionals? Join us for a virtual session "Career Path Q&A", for Calgary university students. This webinar is an informal opportunity for you to learn more about career opportunities in finance from industry professionals who will lead this engaging Q&A session. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to connect with a small group of like-minded students over Zoom. Our speakers will share their career journeys, offer advice for how to succeed in the field and answer your questions to help you kick-start your career in finance.
Target Audience: Due to the small scale of this event, it is restricted to undergraduate and graduate female university students in Calgary only.
Carla Marsh has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a major in Finance, from the University of Calgary and is a CFA charter holder. She has worked at Pembina Pipeline Corporation since 2010 during which time she has held roles in accounting (projects and fixed assets), risk management, and corporate and business planning. She is currently a senior analyst in the Corporate Planning group.
Rachel Walsh has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colgate University where she majored in geology and is a 2020 Level III CFA Candidate. Rachel has been working in Capital Markets since 2015 in roles in both Equity Research and Investment Banking primarily at Macquarie Capital. She recently joined BMO Capital Markets as a Research Associate covering small and mid-cap E&P companies.
