Women in Capital Markets launches new Steering Committee, AdvanceAbility.
The founding Committee co-Chairs are Danielle LeBlanc, Senior Marketing Associate at Moody's Analytics, and Jason Parker, Head, Canadian Debt Research, BMO Capital Markets. BMO Capital Markets is pleased to be AdvanceAbility's first Business Sponsor.
Canadian Business SenseAbility will serve as a partner on this initiative. SenseAbility is a national, not-for-profit organization with the goal to help companies accelerate success through the talents of people with disabilities.
The AdvanceAbility Committee will launch a Mentorship Program in 2017 and is seeking capital markets professionals interested in participating as Mentors and Mentees in this program.
How the Program Works
Participants will apply through WCM and the AdvanceAbility Committee will pair Mentees with Mentors for a six-month period. The objective is to provide qualifying Mentees with support to maximize their career potential. The program will align to WCM's current Mentorship Program and will provide additional information and guidance to the AdvanceAbility participants.
