Position Description

Our mission is to accelerate diversity, inclusion and equity in Canada’s financial industry. Join a creative, collaborative and engaged team dedicated to making an impact and advocating for equitable workplaces.

As Manager of Research and Advocacy, you’ll work closely with the Senior Director of Research and Advocacy to develop and execute research projects that align with WCM’s strategic goals. WCM does its own in-house research, collaborates with other organizations on research projects, and also contracts out research design and implementation to third party vendors. As Manager, you will be tasked with supporting all three aspects of WCM’s research portfolio. You will also be responsible for many of the hands-on activities related to both qualitative and quantitative research, including survey design, interviewing, data analysis, secondary research, and others.

Advocacy is a central focus of the Manager role. One of the key responsibilities for this role will be to develop WCM’s strategic messaging around its research and diverse topics related to ED&I. In collaboration with the Director and Marketing/Communications team, you will develop reports, key messages, speeches, social media posts, op-eds, and other pieces of communications publicizing our research and our broader vision as it pertains to equity, diversity and inclusion in Canadian finance, and workplaces more generally.
