Position Description
We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Client Engagement Associate to join our Client Engagement team.
The Client Engagement Associate role focuses on client-facing service activities with a strong emphasis on building new client relationships while maintaining and expanding current ones. Primary responsibilities include directly handling client requests for information regarding our product offerings and of custom client reporting supplements, completing client requests for information and other various internal support functions.
The Client Engagement team focuses on relationship management and servicing high net worth individuals, family offices, institutional clients, advisors, and wealth management firms.
Under the supervision of the Manager, Client Engagement, the Client Engagement Associate's duties, and responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Responding promptly and effectively to client requests by maintaining expert level knowledge of product offerings and striving for deep understanding of client transactional and administrative needs
- Developing strong partnerships with multiple internal departments and leveraging their expertise to resolve clients’ issues
- Facilitating and conducting administrative activities for the purpose of documentation and execution of new accounts openings, new client onboarding and overall ongoing account maintenance
- Providing support to the Sales team by coordinating and attending client meetings, preparing presentation materials, as well as performance reviews, proposals, and other marketing materials
- Collaborating with event planner to coordinate client events and proactively contributing ideas for client engagement activities and initiatives
- Reviewing and maintaining client contacts and relationships information in CRM System
- Working with other team members to complete common projects in a timely manner
- Providing back-up to other Client Engagement colleagues when required
- Actively participating in initiatives geared towards augmenting and improving the RPIA client experience
Required Skill / Experience
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in financial services; preferably interacting with fund managers, dealer firms and advisors
- Previous experience within back-office operations would be an asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Advanced MS Excel skills
