Our client, an infrastructure fund manager located in Montréal, is looking for an Analyst to join their lean and dynamic investor relations team.
Position Description
The Analyst, Investor Relations will provide support to the Investor Relations team for the preparation of various financial analysis and reports for clients and potential investors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare quarterly customer statements and update presentations for customer meetings.
- Complete quantitative and qualitative customer questionnaires.
- Complete consultant data requests on various platforms.
- Update and maintain various Excel spreadsheets and databases used for quarterly client reports.
- Provide support for the completion of RFPs and RFQs from potential investors.
- In collaboration with the investment, accounting and fund performance teams, perform various quantitative analyses to assess and present asset level details and overall fund performance.
- Assist with quarterly/annual fund reporting to investors.
- This role is fully in person for the first three months, and will shift to hybrid with 3 mandatory in office per week afterwards.
Required Skill / Experience
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Commerce, with a Major in Finance and/or Accounting.
- 1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- CPA and/or CFA designation considered an asset.
- Understanding and interest in investments, industry transactions and private markets.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, highest degree of rigor.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent management of competing priorities and organizational skills.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills and high level of bilingualism (French and English).
- Interest or previous experience in the ESG space considered an asset.
