Dans la troisième séance de Carrière en évolution, nos panelistes chevronnées discuteront de l'importance de renforcer les liens avec les mentors et les commanditaires en expliquant:

  • L'importance de bien se positionner pour les gagnantes afin de permettre aux femmes les plus prometteuses d'accéder à des postes de direction
  • La différence entre mentore/mentor et commanditaire, et le rôle de chacun
  • Les bonnes façons de créer et maintenir de liens solides avec les commanditaires et obtenir des appuis.

In the third session of the Careers In Motion Series our executive panel speakers will share insights on fostering mentor and sponsor relationships by discussing:

  • The importance of powerfully positioned champions for high-potential women's leap to leadership
  • The difference between mentors and sponsors, and the significance of each
  • The right ways to acquire and maintain strong sponsorship relationships and garner support.

Kiron holds a Joint Honours in Economics and Finance from McGill University in Montreal.

Isabelle Paquet est Directrice pour le groupe de Produits dérivés de Banque Nationale du Canada. Elle s'est jointe à la Banque en 2005. Durant ces 12 années à la Banque, Isabelle a couvert tant au niveau des produits structurés que des produits dérivés pour une clientèle composée d'institutions, d'individus fortunés, de firmes de gestion de portefeuille ainsi que de clients au détail. Elle est aujourd'hui responsable du développement et de la couverture des clients eu Europe et aux États-Unis pour les produits dérivés. Isabelle détient un baccalauréat en Mathématiques Appliqués de l'Université de Montréal et une maîtrise en Finance Mathématique et Computationnelle également de l'Université de Montréal.

Isabelle Paquet is a Director for the Global Equity Derivatives Group at the National Bank of Canada.

Since joining the Bank in 2005, Isabelle has covered structured and derivative products for a clientele comprising institutional investors, high net worth individuals, portfolio management firms and retail clients. She is currently in charge of the development and coverage of derivative products in Europe and the US. Isabelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master's degree in Mathematical and Computational Finance from University of Montreal.

Françoys Levert

Françoys Levert is Managing Director and Head of Global Markets - Quebec. In this capacity he supervises a team of 27 sales/traders professional servicing institutional and corporate clients across all assets classes: Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives and Equity. He is responsible for developing and implementing CIBC – Global Markets strategy with the Quebec client base. Françoys is also involved in many key initiatives regarding product development. Prior to joining the firm, Françoys was Managing Director, Institutional Sales, and Head of Canadian Relationship Management at Manulife Asset Management, from 2009 to 2011. He was responsible for leading the business development efforts across Eastern Canada and as head of the Canadian Relationship Management team, provides direction to ensure Manulife Asset Management was delivering relationship management and client service excellence. From 1996 to 2009 Françoys was with State Street Bank and Trust. He held several key roles including head of Canadian institutional foreign exchange sales (from 2005 to 2009). Françoys holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Jennifer Reynolds

Jennifer Reynolds is the President and CEO of Women in Capital Markets and has been an active advocate and supporter of the advancement of women in the industry over her career. Prior to joining WCM, Jennifer spent 15 years working in the capital markets industry, primarily in Investment Banking, holding senior roles with BMO Capital Markets and Stonecap Securities, and in the venture capital industry with OMERS Ventures.

Jennifer is a Director on the Board of the Canada Development Investment Corporation ("CDEV"), and is a former Member of the Ontario Venture Capital Fund Advisory Committee, Chair of the Board of Advisors of the Microskills Business Incubator, and Director on the Board of Studio 180, an independent, Toronto based theatre company. Jennifer is also active in her community as the Honorary Chair of the Princess Margaret Hospital Weekend Walk to End Women's Cancers and a Member of the YWCA Women of Distinction Committee.  ​In 2015, ​she was named a Women's Executive Network (WXN) Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winner.

Jennifer is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Women's Leadership program, and she received her MBA from McGill University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Economics and Political Science from McGill University.
