Golf Tournament FAQ

1. What if I am not a good player?
The tournament is based on a scramble, best ball format which ensure that both novice and accomplished players can enjoy the game together.

Scramble” means each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.

Best ball” means that each player on the team plays his or her own golf ball throughout the round, and on each hole the low score - or "best ball" - of the group serves as the team score.

2. What if I don’t have a foursome?
You do not need to have a group of four in order to participate. The WCM Golf Committee will facilitate grouping individuals into teams of four.

3. What if I have a name change on my team or a member of my foursome cannot make it?
Please contact the WCM office at [email protected] or 416-502-3614 as soon as possible, but no later than July 1, 2015.

Please note - if you are unable to provide a substitute and need to cancel, WCM will refund players for cancellations received prior to July 1, 2015. No refunds will be issued as of July 1, 2015.

4. Where do I pick up my rental golf clubs?
