Another week down with a lot of activities and people to thank for keeping the WCM mission going.

WCM Virtual Speed Networking - On October 7th WCM Members heard from an expert panel and had the opportunity to network one-on-one in a series of 3 minute conversations. We were thrilled to see so many Co-Chairs at the event! We are grateful to our fantastic panelists:

  • Suzi Chang-Parkinson, Executive Recruitment Consultant & Career Coach at SCP Executive Search
  • Joanne O’Hea, Managing Director & Head, Global Corporate Access at RBC Capital Markets
  • Bill Vlaad, President and CEO of Vlaad and Co

WCM Leading Edge with Geoff Bertram and Cecile Baker - Over 300 attendees joined WCM's Leading Edge with Geoff Bertram and Cecile Baker of TD Securities for an engaging conversation about Investment Banking. Thank you to moderator Lauren Miele, Director, Marketing, Customer Strategy, and Digital Sales.

WCM University Ambassadors - We recently closed the applications for WCM's university ambassadors for the 2020 - 2021 school year! We are looking forward to working with students from across the country and thank you to all the applicants. Stay tuned for an announcement on our newest ambassadors.

Internal Presentations - WCM was pleased to present at both OPTrust and Citi last week. Great to see so much engagement with WCM and thoughtfulness around managing through Covid.

It's because of our sponsors that we are able to continue the work of accelerating equality across the finance industry. Thanks to Bank of Canada for their continued sponsorship and dedication to this mission!

AIMA Canada Investor Forum 2020 - WCM was a proud supporting partner of this year's AIMA Canada Investor Forum on October 6 & 7.

Now that's hustle!
