New partnership- we are proud to welcome Desjardins as our newest WCM partner. We look forward to working collaboratively in our shared vision and commitment in driving gender diversity in our industry.

Executive Leaders Award Program- Now is it's 12th year, offering six months of professional coaching to female professionals set to climb to the highest ranks of their capital markets careers. Award recipients will be announced early in the new year.

Mentorship program - We are thrilled to have paired 136 professionals with senior mentors, including the AdvanceAbility stream (which pairs protegees with disabilities); and 106 university students with professional mentors. This was the first year we introduced an algorithm to perfect the pairing process and ensure optimal matches. Mentor/protegee introductions were sent out this week and the event kick-off is planned for January 2020.

Thought leadership - from our CEO who closed out the year, presenting to a truly engaged and thoughtful gathering of PIMCO's Canadian employees, planning out a February session with CPPIB, discussing WCM's latest research with CIBC, doing an interview with Wealth Professionals and connecting with important partners at 30% Club, Rotman's Gender and the Economy, Catalyst and AIMA.

WCMElevate- program participants gathered for our second career developing session to learn from a powerhouse panel of industry leaders on their views on how to drive career success in leveraging a model for career mobility to support long-term career plans.

WCMAspire- participants in this career-advancing program gathered for their second session to learn from experts on how vital soft skills are in developing your career.  Participants were left with clear insights on how to effectively network and develop a personal brand that will support career growth.

WCM Holiday Mingle- a sold out event that hosted our valued WCM network from across the industry, for an evening of complimentary head-shots, festive drinks and nibbles. Celebrating an incredible 2019 of hustle that sets a stage for increased progression for 2020.
