Data Entry Volunteer Positions
Timeline | February 2020

Role: Seeking up to ten (10) volunteers to input data into our database with a time expectation of 1-2 hours, to be completed within a 10 day period.
Requirement: You must be a WCM member (student or professional)

*All speakers will be fully briefed on the audience, format, speaking points by WCM in advance of these events*

WCM UniConnect Speaker SeriesRyerson University's Women in Finance Night
January 28, 2020 | 6:00pm - 9:00pm | 55 Dundas St W, Toronto, BCH Bootcamp Lab (TRS 3-180)

Content: Educating and empowering female students on careers in finance.
Type of speakers needed: Seeking five (5) speakers, female and male industry professionals from different areas of finance (i.e capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, investments, mutual funds, wealth management, commercial banking, financial planning).
Style of event: Panel discussion
Note: seeking 15 industry professionals to attend and network with students.

WCM UniConnect Speaker Series (Vancouver): Finance Speed Networking Night with UBC Young Women in Business
January 30, 2020 | 6:00 - 7:30 pm | Venue TBD

Type of speaker needed: Seeking three (3) female professionals with two or more years of experience in any field of capital markets. 
Style of event: Speed networking rotation format

WCM UniConnect Speaker Series: Women in Finance Seminar
February 8, 2020 | 9:30am - 12:30pm | Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, London

Audience: 150 first and second year students in business and STEM programs
Content: Panel on how to break out into finance and the different roles in the industry followed by a speed networking session 
Type of speaker needed: Seeking early to mid level women in different areas of capital markets to speak as panelists. 
Style of event: Panel discussion and speed networking

WCM UniConnect Speaker Series (Montreal): Annual Women’s Leadership Conference | Concordia John Molson Women in Business Club
February 8, 2020 | Concordia University

Content: This annual conference brings together 200 students from John Molson at Concordia University. This years theme "Strength to Strength" is centered around exploring different ways to spearhead change for gender parity across personal and professional lives. Speakers and panelists will bring to the forefront the challenges and opportunities in advancing gender equality and confronting discrimination. 
Type of speaker needed: Seeking keynote speakers and panelist for a Women in Finance panel.  Speakers will have a chance to discuss their career trajectories and promote their companies to JMSB's most involved students. This ia change for your best and brightest to tell young talent about what kind of organization you are and why joining your team would be a mutually beneficial endeavour.

WCM UniConnect Speaker Series:McMaster DeGroote Women in Business | Case Competition
February 1, 2020 | DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, Hamilton

Type of speaker needed: Senior female professional to offer a keynote and be a judge for the competition
