Recap: The Collective Wisdom of High-Performing Women

By WCM | Event Recap| May 28, 2019

Last Tuesday, we hosted four incredible storytellers from The Collective Wisdom of High Performing Women. The discussion, moderated by Colleen Moorehead, provided some sage advice, moments of laughter, and many moments of reflection.

Below are some key takeaways:

  1. There is no need for imitation. You can be whomever you want to be.
  2. As leaders, we need to continue challenging our assumptions and reinventing the perception of the roles women can hold.
  3. People do not get anywhere unless someone wants them to; as men and women in the industry, we can drive a lot of people to important places.
  4. Remember, this is a societal issue as well as a business one – it is very complex.

Thank you to all our storytellers for sharing with us, to our event sponsor Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, and to our engaged audience.
