WCM Announces Partnership with theBoardlist

By WCM | April 15, 2019

WCM is pleased to announce our partnership with theBoardList, a well-established and curated marketplace designed to connect highly qualified women with the board opportunities they’re ready for.

As of April 15, 2019, candidates on WCM’s Board-Ready Directory will now also be featured on theBoardlist platform as a way to increase their exposure and broaden the opportunities available to them.

As an organization that shares our mission to increase women’s representation on boards across Canada, we are thrilled to unite forces with theBoardlist and provide a single, comprehensive guide for CEOs and Boards searching for board-ready individuals.

Nominations and submissions are accepted by the WCM office year-round, but reviewed every six months by the committee. Deadlines for submissions are June 30 and December 30 of each year, with the new inductees announced by early September and March. Candidates on WCM’s Board-Ready Directory will be automatically endorsed to be profiled on theBoardlist platform as well.

How can you support this initiative and help to improve gender diversity in Canada’s boardrooms?

  1. Help us spread the word - share WCM’s Board Ready Directory with fellow board members, senior leaders and recruiters in your network and with organizations where you currently have governance roles.
  2. Encourage other qualified, board-ready women to apply. An extensive list of high-quality candidates will generate more profile and visibility, bringing more opportunities to all.
  3. Share and promote WCM's Board-Ready Directory on your social media channels and tag WCM and theBoardlist. Facebook: @WomenInCapitalMarkets Twitter: @WCMCanada Instagram: @womenincapitalmarkets
