WCM is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2018 WCM Return to Bay Street (RTBS) Award. The RTBS award is specifically designed for women who have taken time away from their successful professional roles in the capital markets industry and are ready to re-launch their careers. These women are resuming senior roles and represent a valuable pool of talent for the industry.

WCM is pleased to announce the 2018 RTBS award recipients as:

  • Kristine Beese, BMO
  • Lisa Brown, Scotiabank
  • Tiffany Dinh, BMO
  • Anita Ho, RBC
  • Maria Hunt, CIBC
  • Dimitra Kappos, BMO
  • Roanna Kim, RBC
  • Leila Kulbayeva, TD
  • Ella Liapis, RBC
  • Rajeshwari Nair, TD

"It gives me great pleasure to congratulate these outstanding women who are relaunching their careers with the ability to make an immediate contribution to the firms they are joining. In addition, I would like to recognize the incredible commitment that the Canadian Banks are making by partnering with WCM to seek out this tremendous talent pool. Their support of the program and ongoing desire to contribute to the positive momentum in diversity and inclusion is admirable”, said Camilla Sutton, CEO of Women in Capital Markets.

Launched in 2010 by WCM and founding sponsor BMO Capital Markets, through funding from their Equity Through Education program, the WCM RTBS Awards Program assists talented women with a previous career in capital markets to re-launch a full-time career in Canadian capital markets after an extended period of absence from the industry.

The program includes a one-day workshop designed to educate women about the award and prepare them to return to the industry, an interviewing skills workshop and the award component that provides an education grant, a paid work contract at one of the RTBS partner institutions, including CIBC, Bank of Montreal, Royal Bank of Canada, Scotiabank or TD Bank, a mentor and a one-year WCM Membership.
