PwC’s Annual Corporate Directors Survey has gauged the views of public company directors from across the United States on a variety of corporate governance matters for more than a decade. Key findings from this issue: Setting the corporate tone through middle management is key; 64% of directors evaluate company culture using their "gut feeling"; 94% of directors agree that board diversity brings unique perspectives to the boardroom. but more than half (52%) say board diversity efforts are driven by political correctness.
