WCM 12th Annual Awards ceremony- brought industry professionals together for a fabulous evening honouring individuals and firms that are changing the industry through their excellence in leadership.  

WCMSheBiz Toronto Recap - 8th annual WCMSheBiz brought together nearly 400 female high school students from 37 schools across the GTA for yet another inspiring and educational event on the rewarding careers in business and STEM. 

BNN Interview with Catherine Murray- The Wall Street veteran that Canada is lucky to have digging into the business news, interviewed WCM's President and CEO Camilla Sutton on the impact WCMSheBiz is having on our high school student community.

WCM Mentor Lunch and Learn Montreal - session led by one of Canada's 100 most powerful women and WCM 2019 Champion of Change, Catherine Milum, Head of Wealth Sales at Manulife, brought a full room of professionals together to learn insights and advice from a true industry leader and diversity ambassador.

Women in Wealth Management Conference- by Wealth Professionals (WP) hosted an insightful conference that highlighted progress in the industry to date and the importance of mentorship. Camilla Sutton had the pleasure of sharing the stage with moderator Lisa Applegath and panelists Kar-Wei Lam and Karrie Van Belle.

30% Club Advisory Committee - met for their quarterly meeting. Co-chaired by Louisa Greco and David Pathe, this committee accelerates progress through the leadership of Canadian CEO's and believes that partnering and collaborating with other not-for-profits is at the core of how we can amplify key messaging in driving change.

WCM Mentor Lunch and Learn Toronto- session led by Daniela Jaramillio, District Vice President of Wealth Sales at Manulife Investments, filled a room of highly engaged professionals from various career backgrounds, intrigued by the tips offered from an inspiring thought leader.

D&I Thought Leadership - Camilla Sutton, WCM President and CEO had the pleasure to present and participate in important Inclusion and Diversity Committee work at Ontario Teachers Pension Plan, TD, RBC and National Bank this week.

WCM Job Shadow Day - in it's 16th year, hosted for the first time in Montreal, offered 75 senior finance focused high school students from schools across Montreal, a unique opportunity to experience a day in the life of a capital markets professional.  We thank our host firms BMO, CDPQ, CIBC, Desjardins, Fiera Capital, National Bank, PSP Investment and Scotiabank for making this a truly successful and impactful event.
