This article utilises the ISS’ Voting Analytics database to survey gender diversity on boards globally. Specifically, the research targets 30 countries over five continents, and finds an average of 16.9% female representation on boards in 2016. The article also dissects regulation based on region, and the impact it has on gender diversity.
