Our directory debunks the perceived ‘lack of talented, board-ready women’ and provides board recruiters with a pool of qualified female candidates, to encourage greater gender diversity on corporate boards in Canada. Our goal is for it to become a resource for board chairs, senior leaders and recruiters to identify and locate women who are eminently qualified to sit on public, crown, private, and not-for-profit Boards of Directors.

- Help us spread the word - share WCM’s Board Ready Directory with board members, senior leaders and recruiters in your network
- Become a WCM member. By joining WCM, you are voting for increased diversity, inclusion, equality and change in our industry. Your membership supports all of the work WCM does to accelerate gender diversity, including our Board Ready Initiative. Learn more about WCM membership and what it can do for you.
- Encourage other qualified, board-ready women to apply. An extensive list of high quality candidates will generate more profile and visibility, bringing more opportunities to all. Nominations and submissions are accepted by the WCM office year-round, but reviewed every six-months by the committee. Deadlines for submissions are June 30 and December 30 of each year, with the new inductees announced by early September and March
